Lots Of Goodies!

Gifts from Heather:For Mommy Theme
Gifts from Jenn:Meal Time Theme
Close up of cute ladybug outfit!

I have participated in two cyber showers this month. Also secret pals have started up again for my tea monkey group. Earlier in the month I received a gift from Heather from my Sept DTC group. The theme this month was something for Mommy. Heather was very creative and got me two rompers for Diana. One said "Mommy's Little Alarm Clock" and the other said "Mommy's Little Girl" The other thing she sent was bib that says "Mommy's Sweetheart" They are all so sweet.

Today when I got home there was a huge box sitting on my kitchen table. Inside was my gift from Jenn from my ladybug group. Our theme this month was feeding time. She got Diana a set of bottles, disposable flatware, a double bottle holder, a one the go feeding set, a bib that says "Little Princess" and the cutest ladybug outfit!

She also got my boys gifts too. She got them a badminton set and also a little football. She told them they could use these either at a picnic or bar-b-q. Hey maybe next week after they get out of school we will go on a picnic.

Thank you so much Jenn and Heather. We really loved all the gifts!

Couldn't Resist & Crazy Boys

I have been really good lately about not buying too much stuff for Diana. With not having any idea as to when we will get her its hard to buy clothes. My new passion have been hair bows but I've been pretty good about those too for the most part (except for the ones I am waiting for that I will post about later...good story for those!) Anyway I was in Target and I always check the clearance aisle and look what I found! The cutest ladybug rain slicker and boots! I just couldn't resist! Even if Diana never wears them I got them cheap and I am sure I will find a cute baby who will love them!

My boys (like most boys) are always coming up with crazy things to do and say. The other day Bailey comes up with stickers all over his mouth. We always tease him that he talks too much so I think this was his way of shutting himself up.

That same day Matthew comes upstairs with two balls under his shirt and says "Look Mommy I have boobies!" I was hysterical!! I just had to take a picture...I am sure he will need therapy for me posting this but I couldn't resist......

Seven Months Closer

Well we have officially been waiting for Diana now for 7 months! Some days it feels much longer and others it seems like the wait has just begun. In order to remain positive I will say that it just means we are seven months closer to having Diana in our arms.
It is funny because I am always thinking about her but sometimes we will go a week or so without talking about her. It is then that I will hear the boys talking about her. Just this week I heard Matthew tell Bailey "When we get Diana we will have to read her this story." It brought happy tears to my eyes. My little boys already are thinking of their sister and telling each other what they will do with her.
Also we were in Dave's SUV the other day and whenever I am in the car they both want to get out on my side. I told them that when Diana comes they won't be able to do that because she will be in the middle. They were both excited that she will be sitting between them. I am sure once she is home and trying to grab at their stuff they won't be as excited but I am living in the moment!!!!!!!!

Diana~Mommy and Daddy and your brothers are thinking of you and hoping you will be here soon. Remember even though you can't see us you can surely feel our love!!!
PS I have no idea why it won't let me space my paragraphs!!! UGG!!

Happy Mother's Day

I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day. Mine started a few days ago with going to the boys' classes for Mother's Day Tea. They did a few songs and a dance. It was soooo cute. I went to Matthew's class and Dave went to Bailey's. After the performance part we switched and had our snacks with the other boy. They each presented me with a book. They are so sweet. There is a picture of them in the book holding a sign that says "Happy Mother's Day 2007" They also have their hand prints on them. It really was sweet.

This morning each boy came in my room with a card for me. They also got me a new digital camera. Later we went out to brunch with my mom, sister and niece. It was really nice to be able to spend the day with my children but also with my mother as well. I am so lucky to have her in my life. She is my hero and I hope I will continue to be half the mom that she still is to me.

At one point today I was thinking about Diana's birth mother and wondering what she is doing. I don't even know if she is pregnant with her yet. I was thinking of ways to honor her in the future and I thought maybe we will buy a yellow rose each year to remember her by. When we got to the brunch all the mothers were handed roses. Believe it or not I got a yellow one. I will definitely start this tradition now. Tonight I look at that rose and think of Diana's birth mother and say a tiny prayer for her.

For all my friends out there who are not mothers yet know your time is coming. Soon enough you will hold your little ones in your arms and know exactly what it feels like to be a mom.
